Why we started
“My father missed out on so much of my life. And it didn’t have to be that way.”
My dad started losing his hearing in his 30s. Doctor after doctor told him the same thing: hearing aids won’t help you, just learn to live with it. So he withdrew, from friends, from work, from us. He passed away at 53, never having heard what he was missing.
I built Hearing Health Center in 1984 in his honor, so no family in Chicago hears “learn to live with it” ever again. That is why we lead with answers, not sales pressure.
